Stroman前三局繳出9上9下的好表現，4局上無人出局時被Adam Jones敲出金鶯團隊第1支安打，隨後金賢洙擊出內野滾地球，Jones提前起跑、成功站上得點圈，Manny Machado敲出中右外野方向飛球眼看要落地形成安打，中外野手Kevin Pillar精彩撲接化解失分危機。

2人出局、二壘有人，眼看Stroman能安全下莊，面對單季敲出47轟的全壘打王Trumbo，Stroman投到低角度避免挨轟，沒想到還是逃不過Trumbo的毒手，硬是拉出左外野全壘打大牆，金鶯用全壘打回敬藍鳥，4局結束、金鶯取得2：1領先。
